The creators of Zouk, Manchester and Bradford's award-winning Indian and Pakistani cuisine, asked us to work with their designer to build a stunning website. It had to be rigged with SEO friendly content, showcasing their restaurant in its finest glory across desktop, tablet and mobile. So we did just that.
The site is now brimming with a blend of constantly updated upcoming events, tasty recipes, blog content, and photographs of scenes shot from dynamic angles. Setting Zouk apart from competitors, we added a WP eCommerce plugin to the bespoke Wordpress system. This allows online visitors to purchase spaces on the cookery school courses, or to buy from a selection of signature spices. Wordpress also makes for easy content upload for the client. To encourage maximum user interaction over the coming months, we're analysing user behaviour and tailoring updates to this information. This ensures we keep customers on the site for longer and increase conversions. We're also particularly proud of the CSS animated buttons that enliven the visitor experience. The integration of Zouk's Instagram feed on the front page for added visual flair is also pretty nifty, demonstrating the brand's keen activity across the online sphere.
Zouk now has a modern, visual and highly functioning website that will boost its bookings and set it apart from all its competitors. The bespoke e-commerce area will also allow Zouk to make money through the Cookery School and Shop.
