Unless you have been living inside a 'social media free' box for the last few days, you will have known about the Facebook F8 conference on Thursday. Major changes were announced at the conference which made me for one, pretty excited.

IMPORTANT UPDATE********** THIS POST IS NOW SEVERAL MONTHS OLD. THE TIMELINE IS NOW AVAILABLE TO EVERYONE AND YOU DO NOT NEED TO FOLLOW THESE STEPS. THEY WILL NOT WORK! PLEASE FOLLOW THE GUIDE IN OUR RECENT BLOG POST HERE FOR STEPS TO ACTIVATE THE TIMELINE************* LOVE, MSA X

Mark Zuckerberg announced the 'new look' Facebook would include a brand new,image orientated timeline, with some cool new features. We will be giving a full run down of the changes in our Monday post (edit.....HERE) , but for now, if you would like to use the new style Facebook early, follow these simple steps:

1.) Go to the Facebook Developers page log in and if asked, give all permissions.

2.) Go to the Apps tab at the top of the page.

3.) Create a new App at the top right corner

4.) Dont worry too much about the name and name space, just type anything ie: 'My Sneaky App' 'mysneakyapp'

5.) Click on the tab called 'Open Graph' on the left hand menu

6.) Pause for breath and feel the tingle of excitment

7.) Give it a fake action and object ie: verb 'read' object 'blog'

8.) Keep clicking 'Save and Continue' at the bottom of the page until you exit to the 'Dashboard' screen

9.) where it says 'admins' of the app and shows your profile, click on this to get a clean refresh to your Facebook profile page

10.) There should be an invite banner at the top of your profile

11.) Enjoy, the wrapper picture is a really cool visual addition :-)
