Like any part of digital marketing, social media can be an extremely complex and hard concept to swing your head around. It may be of benefit to you then, for me to say that social media can be split into four simple pillars; Research, Monitoring, Engagement and Measurement. Whilst these are very basic, top-level steps, they are the groundwork that needs to be covered before implementing further social technicalities.
